Heavy Gauge Panels
Heavy Gauge Panels are the most widely used product due to manufacturing flexibility and performance. Panels are fabricated in a “tray” configuration with bakcings applied as required.
| Heavy Gauge Panels: |
| VE Coating: Total coating thickness typically 180 to 500 microns with a min of 100 microns on internal faces. |
| Panel Return: The panel returns are typically 20 – 50mm and used for fixing of the panels. |
| Base Steel thickness: A min. of 0.75mm. Typical thickness is 1.5 or 1.6mm. up to 2.5mm thickness available. |
| Backing Core (Panel Backing): Can be a variety of materials, normally fire resistant and asbestos free including calcium silicate, gypsum board and aluminium honeycomb. |
| Backing Sheet (optional): Materials include hot dipped galvanised steel sheets, aluminium and stainless steel sheets sealed on all sides. |
